folks are coming back from thailand and settling in harrogate area (knaresborough). i set them up with a £10 giffgaff sim (they already have a decent phone so sim only required) but the reception is awful so they need an alternative now.

the giffgaff 'goodybag' was ideal, they just need moderate minutes/texts/data on a rolling monthly deal and ideally be able to cancel if they dont get decent service. theyve been told by people in the area that virgin and vodafone have decent signals there.

any advice on the nearest deal to the giffgaff jobby please?

Lebara (Vodafone), not sure about Virgin. Guess Virgin uses O2, if not T-mobile. The best deal out there are from Lyca mobile, but they use O2.

Sainsbury mobile runs over Vodafone and offers similar deals to Giff-gaff but maybe not so good on the data side.

great stuff, thanks chaps. currently getting folks to choose between virgin and lebara 🙂 deals look the same apart from twice the amount of minutes with lebara.
