Leant against a fence today and now have (what i assume to be) ronseal all over my new shirt that i have had on for a grand total of about 10 minutes since i bought it 😳
Tried googling but no answer so thought stw might know what is the best way to wash it and hopefuly save the shirt?!
Borrowing from their adverts I'd say..........read the label
i dont have a tin handy as it wasnt my fence
White spirit whilst the Ronseal is still wet, then neat washing up liquid. Once it's dried, it's too late, although possible a steam jet might get some out.
obviously there where prominently displayed signs warning of wet paint, along with a barrier system in operation,to sto members of the public, getting near to the painting activity.
The stuff you'd need to remove it is so expensive, you'd be better off buying a new t-shirt. Tried Nitromors?
Pop round to B & Q and have a read of one of their labels, then
"Do exactly what it says on the tin"
Failing that, let it dry then sand lightly and re-apply next year....

Just been out to the car parking area, and the stain from a tin of ronseal i dropped on there is still there 2 years latter,
Pity it didnt stay on doors and fences for so long.
As the stuff is weatherproof for about 2 years I suspect you will need to boil wash it for about 6 months...
Thinners should do it
