The reason it feels further at night is that the universe is constantly expanding. When your asleep you don't notice so when you get up its further.

Science is that

I assume bear is getting up for a slash because there's no room in his abdomen for anything as trivial as a bladder

*goes off to check the marigolds/olive oil thread*

Isn't this what Old cycling water bottles get demoted to?

I hates this. Not as bad as peeing in the night while camping though.

Demoted? No need, a quick rinse and they're ready to use again.

Of course, you don't use your own bottle...

I'm at that unfortunate age where my partner, my four year old and my dog all get up for a wee at various times during the night..

I had about 4 minutes sleep last night ๐Ÿ™

As a batchelor I used to take a milk bottle upstairs after a few beers and could easily fill it. Married, I have to get up, which I don't mind but what hate is the dribbles; one last drop always seems to get out no matter how long I tug, sqeeze, shake and milk the poor old chap before leaving the bathroom.

Curiously it's a phase I seem to have aged out of, used to be a real pisser in my mid thirties.

Your wife doesn't believe that excuse and neither do we!

If I have to make visit during the night I sit down to pee, to avoid wayward aiming...

If it's a normal half litre bottle you'll need more than one... I use a three quarter for camping trips. Solo camping trips that is. Never ask me for a loan bottle.

Confession time

A few years back when I had a series of really long drives to do (eg. Geneva, South of France) I got a handful of these from a nurse friend:
[img] [/img]
(extra large, natch) and some tubing, out my shorts and down to a container by the side of the seat - was great to just release the flow in the fast lane instead of busting for a P, waiting for the next aire.

would defo do again if I had a long drive.
