I'd like either a gas or diesel heater fitted to my Transit van (prefer a diesel heater), but don't have the time or inclination to do it myself at the moment. Does anyone know of any decent places that fit them?

I'm based in North Nottinghamshire, but don't mind travelling a couple of hours to drop van in if needs be.

TIA

If you use Facebook then look up a guy called Gary Toozer. He seems to do a lot of heater installations for T5 owners and is supposed to be quite good.
He's somewhere in the Midlands from what I remember reading.

He did my ne. Also on the T5 forum as b1toots or something like that.
Paid £700 fitted fir an Eberspacher with 7 day timer module, he came down to Portsmouth & fitted it in a couple of hours & only 1 brew. He even swept the bits of swarf from cutting the vent holes etc off the driveway.

How long ago was that and was that fitted under the drivers seat?

I've not spoken to Gary yet about mine but a couple of other places have quoted a fair bit higher than that.

2 years ago & yes, under the drivers seat. It was a reconditioned unit not a brand new one, although all the wiring, control box etc were new.

Thanks fellas. I've sent a friends request to Gary Toozer, so hope to p.m. him in due course.

Any other suggestions also welcome.

Cheers

Cheers h4muf - just spoke to the fella at Buspoke and I'm going over there next week to have a chat through fitting options. Thanks again for the heads up.

b1toots is who I'll probably get to do mine. Think he does recon heaters as well as new ones.

Otherwise, Vagnostics over in Scunny fit them too and been pleased with Matt's work when I've used him before.
