Not wishing to make light of the matter at hand......but whoever decided on this title for their organisation must surely have known what they were doing 😆

The worst one was the school where the missus works when they became an academy.
The Westlands Academy Trust.
No one realised until I asked the missus why she was working for a bunch of ****s?
It was quickly changed.
at a previous employer we had a guy with the job title of Technical Writer And Trainer
LOL at the Op link!
Acronym.
torsoinalake - I think the OP was cunningly referring to an acronym that was out of place in the current time.
Some of the grumpy old Technicians at City Uni were known as ..
those City University Non Teaching Staff
I see.
I've learnt a new word today. Carry on.
torsoinalake has it.
Slightly incongruous thread title where one word is 'genius' and the other a mis-spelling 🙄
there is a company in Munich that provides care for the elderly. they have ASS writen across their vehicles....
Alter-Senioren Services.
Similar to the above.. I work for a company whose name begins with a C.
We have a C.. Women in I.T. initiative.
I said they would prefer to be called Ladies, but they wouldn't have it 🙁
I stand corrected. But it is an acronym 😀
I used to work for a company whose initials were "DCL." I tried and failed to prevent my department being formally named "IT Services." So, yes, we were DCLITS.
I s****ed, but then I'm twelve. (Sometimes... 😉 )
Somerset College of Art & Technology
Made me chuckle every time I drove by.
They used to be BAPS, but everyone took the piss/thought they were taking the piss so they added the extra 'aesthetic'
