I just want to get a rough idea on what people pay for their gas and electricity a month. My latest quarterly bill is for over £900 which seems a touch steep 😯
what was your usage & how many people are you heating/feeding/keeping the internet on for?
£93/month for 2 off us in a 4 bed detached. Will probably build up a decent credit once it starts warming up too.
Gas £70 ish, Leccy £40ish a month for 11 months of the year by DD. 3 bed Terraced House (Victorian, so 9" solid walls, under floor void and drafts everywhere).
£170 a month for 5 folk in a 3 bed semi
£165/month family of 4 in 5 bed semi
My gas/elec was similar (ie £300 month) last winter for a large 5 bed house with ch on constant over the coldest periods. In comparison a 3 bed flat is £60 but heating is on low (ie 16-18) half the month as its unoccupied.
