Anyone had any luck replacing one of the end link pins on a Garmin bracelet? I spoke to Garmin and it's not something they sell. They recommended a new bracelet but that's prohibitively expensive for what amounts to about £2 of metal.

I've got spare pins from the links I removed but it needs another bit at the end to screw into. It's the double screw that links the removable links to the QuickFit link on the end here:

Proprietary fittings - they’ll get you every time! Have a look on Amazon, I have woven elastic straps on a couple of my watches, and I’m sure I’ve seen Garmin mentioned as well as Apple. I picked up a woven ‘Pride’ strap for a Casio I have, I had to get special adapters for the strap to fit, and I’m sure they do the Apple magnetic fittings, cost around £9, instead of the £99 that Apple charges! The only reason I bought t was because the watch is bright yellow, and it was the only strap I could find with yellow in the weave!

AliExpress was a great shout. Found the exact (or so it seems) strap for £37. Bit better than the £430 Garmin want 😱

Thanks
