Planted some bulbs - iris, agapathus(??), lilies, etc - in various pots and beds a few weeks ago. Unlike my usual efforts at growing stuff most seem to have flourished but there's no sign of any buds 🙁 Any thoughts why that is??

Planted at the wrong time of year perhaps. Think you usually put bulbs in in autumn. Might need to be deeper in the pots and you did put them right way up did you? 😆

I would agree that the time of year is wrong, you should have planted them a lot longer ago.
However, they are probably still doing some stuff underground so do not give up on them yet!

A case of 'read the manual'perhaps??? Should make it clear though that there's plenty of leaf growth, just no sign of flower buds....
