but seriously, it's really very very bright, there are moon-shadows outside, i haven't seen those in a while.

perigee moon apparently. Closest the moon gets to earth and the brighest for 20 odd years. Completely beautiful.

I got up at 2am for a pee, and thought the sun was starting to come up and that it was closer to 6am. Completely threw me it was that bright!

The best time to look at the the moon will be just after sunset tonight. Tonight is when Earth is closest to the Moon.

yep, i finish work at 7, think i might head off to KDY with the camera.
was through there last night, moon looked stunning against the bay, just hope its clear skies 2nite.

We drove back +200 miles practically due east yesterday evening/night - consequently it was straight in front the entire journey.

We had an amazing view of the moon on monday on Kirkstone pass at 14.00 in the daytime .
