Seeing as non-office based shenanigans have become the norm and a lot of the usual suspects are closed (please open soon Greggs) what are you going for tonight then, at this ‘interesting’ time?

I’m about to eat my own bodyweight in salt n pepper chicken wings, then I’ve got a frankly obscene amount of cheese to follow with a selection of pickled stuff and chutneys.

What you going for then?

Usual rules apply.... if you’re having a salad, nobody wants to hear about it.

Dough is proving for a massive garlic focaccia. Going to have it with some form of cheesy pasta. And salad.

Home made fish and chips.

White fish breadcrumbed in week old crusts and door step chunks of spuds, par boiled then roasted. Covered in sea salt and cider vinegar.

Not sure this will match well but we have a load of cheese and crackers just pleading to be eaten for afters....

Mrs K and Miss K Jnr learned to make Swedish cinnamon buns this week.  Those and some morretti, followed through to the morning with a bacon sandwich and fresh coffee prequel to a 4hr MTB training ride.

Not a bad start to the weekend.

Dropped some more parcels at the Post Office. It's in the Coop so picked up a couple of their home brand pizzas.
Turned out they were a lot better than I expected.
Gone to salads for lunch this week on the off chance I get to wear my bikini.
Really missing the gym sessions.

Just finished a Chinese takeaway. Crispy duck, chilli beef, chicken chow main and prawn crackers.

Think I may be sick.

Had some veggie chilli I made a few days ago. Wasn't pretty but filled a void.

Got in from a 6 hour ride earlier over the other side of the Kilpatricks with boy 1, Mrs Tyred asked me to go round Lidl and get a couple of things. Lo and behold it's full of Italian goodness! Could barely fit it all in my bag. So I'm having a lot of that.

Massive plate of pasta with the last of the wild garlic pesto, topped with chargrilled courgette and asparagus drowned in chilli oil, scamorza cheese and fresh baked ciabatta on the side, bottle of Puglian primitivo and a slab of tiramisu.

Get in!

Made some sourdough bread and crosswinds earlier today.

Had the sourdough with eggs on, and just had a crossaint with a very large glass of Chilean red wine.

We had a proper chippy tea from the village chip shop yesterday, so tonight was sweet chilli chicken, stir fry and noodles.

The chippy was shut so it was a curry delivered (unusually I'm a little disappointed as I had a hankering for a nice bit of fish) and after a subsequent trip to the coop for milk for everyone else I ended up with a small selection of beers of which I've drunk the Adnams Crystal Rye IPA which was lovely lightly chilled and solidified it a little with some mini cheddars.

Didn't much fancy fat rascal for dessert so....that's for breakfast.
