I feel like I have a Frenchman living in my head this morning. Leffe is stronger than you think it is, isn't it?

Anyway, here we go again with the Friday A&A thread. Can you try and keep the images nice and quiet, please? Hence the black and white edition (Colours might be a little too much!)

To start off with, the master, JPR

Over to you. Clean, safe for work pics of real sportspeople only, folks!

I'm off in search of some orange juice.

CFH - a frenchman in your head? Surely someone of your claimed social standing knows that Leffe is Belgian?

indeed. but the nationality of the beer has nothing to do with the nationality of person in your head. It's a Blackadder thing.

Of course I know that Leffe is Belgian! The Frenchman reference was, in case you didn't spot it, a paraphrasing from Blackadder! 🙂

Pinetrees - Legend of a player. Seeing as we're on that sort of level, how about another true legend of a man, Gordon Brown (Bet you never thought you'd hear me say that!)

[img] [/img]

And, just for balance, what about a Fanny shot?

It is a close call, yes!

jebus - judging from the face there, rather than a fanny shot I'd be expecting something from Partridge. 'There used to be a liner in these...but it's perished'

Colin Meads a God in NZ played on after his arm was broken in a game in South Africa. A true hard man when the gane was pretty brutal.

Aren't we straying from the "aesthetic" a tad?

Certainly athletic. And if Bill Beaumont counts as aesthetic so do these two.
