I've had an email from our local council, they have had a FOI request which includes a work related email conversation I was part of.
The subject is not an issue and is down to my employer, however the email includes my mobile number. This is a works number but I pay for personal use and its turned on outside of work hours.
I don't really want it shared with someone who has a grievance.
Can i request that it is removed / redacted (oh, ive never said that in a proper sentence before.)
Cheers
Paul

They will redact it anyway but make sure you demand it as well.

All names and contact details, unless absolutely relevant to the query, will be redacted. Hence why people often say FOI derived info is practically useless.
