Anyone know of a decent fox fork service centre in or near Hertfordshire? I'm trying to save on postage costs to Mojo/TF Tuned by going local but not sure whether to risk it.

Do it yourself? As long as there's nothing broken it's a fairly straightforward job with online walkthroughs. Just need a flat socket for the top of the legs and a small socket set for the bottom, oil and seals. Took me a couple of hours first time - I took my time!

edit: typing at same time as post above

Is it just oil change and wipers/rings? You could buy the bits and do it yourself.

I'm very tempted to have a go. A Fox service kit from TF Tuned is around £50 for all seals, lubes, fork oil, etc.

Sadly I have totally neglected them having done well over 3000 hard miles since I brought the bike second hand two years ago. I think they would benefit from a complete overhaul and some professional attention before I have a go at taking on the annual servicing myself.

Look at Loco tuning. He's very competitive price wise. Should be more like 35-40 for everything

Simon at Loco has just done my rockshox recons. Full service and return post was £85.
I think it cost me £15 to send to him so £100 all up.

I doubt you'd get it cheaper. Most places will just send forks off to Mojo/TF anyway

However if its a clean and oil change DIY is the way forward.

I must say though the rockshox's feel absolutely stunning after the loco treatment. Worth it if you're forks are a little tired.

Mojo did mine but they also did the RL to RLC conversion and very happy with how they feel.
