Anyone going to the World Cup 8-9 June, every year I say I'm going to go and never do,looked into getting the Scotrail Sleeper, but for the four of us its not cheap,could drive but you're looking at 6-7 hrs to get there, I can picture it now,'Are we there yet'........
I was just up the road 2 years ago, woke up on the morning to travel down, decided I'd sooner ride my bike than watch other people ride theirs, nipped up to Golspie instead 😉 Then went to nevis range on the way home and rode the dh (though not as fast 😉 )
It is supposed to be brilliant though.
It's a 7 hour drive for me and I've been up loads of times. (shame tactics)
Worth the trip if you get a weekend pass with 3 days worth of gondola trips. Loads of stuff going on all weekend and the climax in front of the big grandstand on the Sunday night is priceless.
If it's something you've always wanted to do it would be silly to not just get it done.
