It's seems to have all the right ingredients, good looking and colourful cars (arguably better looking than current F1 cars), a long list of decent drivers who've competed in NASCAR, F1, Indy. Street circuits and proper international feel
and yet...why isn't it any good?
eWRC, that could be more interesting.
A friend who works in Motorsport can't believe it has lasted this long. They play music at the races because there is no noise and they can barely crack 100mph.

Too much F1 DNA. If your dad's steve davis, it doesn't matter what you do, you're going to grow up dull.
I saw the e-prix around Monaco trackside and it was quite good. The batteries are clearly a huge issue that won't be resolved any time soon. The course had been shortened but the screens around the place showed how the drivers were rapidly running out of juice.
The F2 cars on the Friday were something else altogether.
All racing is generally dull if you don't follow it or care who wins unless you are a complete petrol head. Look at the passion or disdain for f1 or moto gp. Basically the same thing but its common to love one and hate the other.
Because they are stupidly slow, that's why it's shit. I could put up with the lack of sound if they cracked 200mph.

What planet are you on? Moto GP is really really good this year, way better than F1 and WSB. Four factories with competitive bikes, small time differences between the top half of qualifying, you never know who is going to podium - plenty of overtaking. Good racing coming through even in the latter half of the pack and the potential for more competitive factory teams in the guise of Suzuki and Aprilia.
