Yesterday my 'bonnet open' warning wouldn't go off despite repeatedly shutting the bonnet.
Today, the heated windscreen, fans, and rear wiper don't work.

And just remembered: when i locked it last night, the indicators didn't flash as they usually do

What's going on? I reckon it's something fuse related but haven't had time to check.

Anyone else ever had this?

if your lucky it might be a fuse - BUT based on my experiance of ford electronics - youll have to be lucky !

i had an escort that indicating was like the lottery - the doors used to lock them selfs !

mechanic said something about the loom going through the bulkhead through a grommet that used to rub through and cause all the wires to fuse together.

what age you talking ?

Had a similar thing with our previous car (a Focus). Turned out to be moisture behind the dash. The guy who fixed it basically took off the dash and dried it out I think. May be worth a shot?

57 plate - shouldn't you be able to get something done on warranty? Find out now before it runs out!
