Could anyone tell me which flowers would be the most suitable for the church/grave?
The problem I am having is that the deer/rabbits are eating them...which flowers wont they eat?
It depends, are you allowed to plant flowers on the grave, or just leave bouquets?
My Nan had planted loads of lovely stuff on my Grandad's grave, but was told by the church to remove, so it's always best to check.
Thanks, we can do both...already checked with church rules.
Deer are fickle so&so's - things that some will leave alone, others will scoff like mad. Generally things that have oils or fragrant leaves are meant to do well, so Lavender, Salvia etc might be worth a go. Stuff like Euphorbia can have an irritating sap too so that might keep em off.
Lavender is nice, always smells nice, soothes the stressfull time you'll spend there and the flowers are lovely in the summer.
