I seem to recall Yahoo and BT were splitting up their shared login ID?

If you didn't signup with a Yahoo account, perhaps you used a Google one.

As a matter of policy yahoo have decided to make flickr shite. So they're taking away facebook logon, but also they've made all the guidance and alternative logons shite too. I only had to get logged in one last time to download everything off it with bulkr, now it can **** off.

Does seem that way!

Shame they can't spin it off as a stand alone company that actually cares about photography.

With looking around the web it seems that you have to re-register with a Yahoo email address, which I don't really want to do.
The sad part of it is that I have pics already stored on their site.

So if everyone has now abandoned Flickr who are you suing to host/ post photos onto the web sites such as STW

I still use Flickr, but the whole community thing was killed off years ago. I just use it for hosting stuff now.

I've had a yahoo email address for years - only to use flickr. It doesn't seem to have had any adverse effects.

I've got a yahoo email address, I just can't be arsed with backwards connectivity steps these days. Just slung everything onto photobucket instead

I still use it, because Photobucket makes me pay for bandwidth use. I set up a Yahoo email years ago for use with Flickr, and while I found it easier to log in via Fb, it doesn't cause too many problems. It's only an email address after all, you don't have to use any other Yahoo services, I never do, and I never seem to get any stuff from them either, so pretty benign really.

I was a BT Flickr user, spent ages recovering my old dormant Yahoo account (and I mean ages as in weeks, via customer support) so I could keep access to Flickr.

As above though, completely lost interest due to all the changes.

I used Flickr for many years but it has been destroyed recently so I've just signed up to 500px
