Hey.
I think the ballast on my fishtank just went. There's two tubes and suddenly it's started turning off after a minute or two, both tubes. I'm guessing that means it's the ballast.
Is there a way to test it with a mltimeter?
If i buy a cheap ballast like this:

As opposed to a pet-shop one for 3x the price - am I wasting my money? I'd guess an online no/unknown brand one will work just the same, but am I wrong?
TL;DR Buy cheap, buy twice. Or, buy cheap and be able to afford a new HT2 BB?
Ta,
Sam
