Fish pedicure ... really? WTF!

Yes, saw this once in the shopping mall charging between £10 to £20.
Why not just use feet smoothing foot file instead as it does the same job?
Absolutely crazy thinking that it is some sort of miracle cure as it is not! Just fish eating dead skin that's all.
Oh well ... I just hope those people don't start complaining about having not enough money to live.
🙄

For £20 I could go down Maidenhead Acquatics and buy about 30 Guppy fish, put 'em in a washing up bowl in some warm water and sit in front of the TV and get my fish pedicure. They'd probably last a few days as well - maybe even get two or three sessions out of them.
Apparently the things are half starved too just to make them interested in skin.
I witnessed this in a shopping 'mall' not too far from where I live.
At first I was concerned that the fish would be touching my feet after the person before, however, that soon passed as my main worry as I'd have to put my feet into the same water as they did.
No thank-you, not ever.
I haven't looked at your link but I remember seeing a mobile fish pedicure company at a couple of festivals last year..
for £10 you could sit for quarter of an hour on the the back of their dropside truck.. dangling your tootsies into one of the 8 tanks they had installed..
what's more.. the tanks were at head height so that the passing crowds could stop and inspect the action..
I wonder what percentage of the takings the fish get..?
wonder what percentage of the takings the fish get..?
Free accomadation and as much dead skin as they can eat.

It's a sliding scale.
I can't be the only person to have thought "but.. fish don't have.. oh"..
It's grim and dirty and plain not nice
