Anyone walked or cycle it? I heard a rumor there was going to be some investment to make it cycle friendly? I am interested in incorporating parts of it into a bike tour in Sep 19. Would be using a cross bike. Any insights appreciated.

If your on Facebook search for Mukyriderz. They’ve done it on MTBs fairly recently so should be able to advise.

Near Clatto Farm North of Kennoway maybe 100yds of 4" road metal with no blinding, ok on a mountain bike but wee bit rough on a xbike. Maybe a few nettles and the edge of a field here and there

I just cycled the Fife Coastal Trail which made a superb day out. Did it on the Gravel bike and it was fine. Made a slight error round Largo to Eilie, could have stayed off the road more there. But apart from that it really was a superb day out and I recommend it to anyone. Long day though!
