I'm off for a week from Saturday and want to do some photography and biking. I don't own a car so I need reasonable rail access. The same lack of a car means I can't combine the two activites without compromise as I cant carry enough bike and street clothes and photogear without compromise or looking like a bikepacker.
So on Saturday I'm taking my Fatty Trail on a train somewhere until midweek when I return to Didcot and then the next morning I'll be off to a city.
For sentimental reasons I was thinking about getting the bike out towards Tenby for some coastal ambling with the chance to pop back via BPW.
As to the choice of a city then I'm completely open to suggestions. Edinburgh really appeals.
Any advice or critique of my locations?

In among the bikes you can demo, is an electric assist fat Haibike.
Edinburgh would give you access to North Berwick / coastal paths. Nice countryside. But maybe a fair hoof to go that far.
