Hey all,
My bro is looking at selling the above amp / head combo. It's a wee bit scruffy but in great working order and makes a lovely noise. Any idea what it might be worth? As we have none!
Dont buy a Carlsbro, they are rubbish, always have been. get a little 5 or so watt combo. there are loads about. new about £100 ish so second hand i reckon you would get for about £50. I have loads of amps, marshall, fender, rivera the lot all cost me a fortune, hundreds of pedals and the only thing I use now is a 5 watt epiphone valve combo with an ibanez tube screamer and a mxr dyna comp, sounds brilliant.
Dont buy the carlsbro unless you like guitar sounding like a particularly angry wasp in a jam jar 🙂

When you say amp/head combo - do you mean amp/cab combo?
The 50 Top Evo was a higher gain, channel switching recreation of the '70s 50 Top (which is a GREAT amp) - they were around £750 new not so long ago. If you've got the 4x12 cab, then I'd go for £600 the lot perhaps... Though it's not a very sought after brand. Great amps though...
