A friend of mine has a picture of her naked with Cliff Richard.

(When they were children, I hasten to add)

I'm vaguely related to Brian McClair, though I no longer have any contact with that side of the family (had this published as a Viz 'Lame to Fame' though!)

I sang on a number one hit single.

A Christmas number one, in fact!

In 1980, (before my voice broke, and it all went downhill).

My Mrs has been on East Enders amongst others

This has reminded me (and this one must surely win); our childminders husband makes toyboxes and furniture and stuff and he recently had a toybox on 'stenders.

I'm not sure that clarification really helps matters...

I met Lennox Lewis in the Virgin lounge at Gatwick. Didn't know who he was, but guessed he was a boxer from his build. All the Virgin female attendants were falling over themselves to pamper him!

i'm not famous in the slightest, but used to live with (and still good friends with) a few people on prime time tv shows. The first rule of celebrity mates club and all that though...

If its minor league you want. I once saw black lace at a skeg caravan park.

If we're going that low, I've been for a kebab with Black Lace.

Once met Steve worland at cwmcarn doing a photo shoot

I know Geoff Waugh but you know I kinda don't like to brag about it. 🙄

Amazing how tenuous some of the claims to fame are in this thread. 'stood behind in a queue'. ' served them at a bar'
LOL.
Does anyone here do dry cleaning for D-list celebs?

I used to teach guitar to footballer Lee Matthews...he was playing for Port Vale at the time. I have also done some band workshops with a band called White Eskimo....their lead singer at the time was Harry Styles.

Speaking of Ian Hislop.... Evidence I gave in a trial for murder was (mis)quoted in an article claiming a miscarriage of justice in Private Eye.

I have it framed on my desk at work

I'm going to be in Coronation St in the next week or two. A doctor hanging round in the background when some woman gets called in to be told she's dying or something. Might have been on already - I don't watch it.

Off to do a bit in DCI Banks next week. Oddly if I take my camera and my estate car, they will get paid almost as much as my generous £75.09 (less agents fee, VAT, travel from Midlands to Leeds, but this time, no car park).

My best mates parents went on holiday so naturally we were obliged to throw a large party. We were all about 17, leathered and getting into the spirit of things when a band called Kula Shaker turned up, tour bus and all.

One friend puked all over the drivers seat of their bus and another did a shit in their sink! I shan't disclose my involvement for legal reasons but they didn't seem best pleased when they left.

If you are talking to me, I can assure you it is true. We went to college with the drummers brother and they were often in the neighborhood.

We've had John McCririck in our studio a few times, he's not as loud and obnoxious in real life which was a bit disappointing. He does actually call his wife Boobie though 😆

I've served coffee and pastries to Nicky Campbell and Feargal Sharkie when I was a runner for The Big Questions. And a few other "famous" people I didn't recognise.

That's about it for my claims to fame. Other than the back of me being on telly whenever they show a wide shot if I'm on an EVS shift 😆 Oh and I went to school and jammed with one of the guitarists from Heavens Basement.

I used to be baby-sat by Dave Stewart.

Don't need a sitter anymore, could possibly do with a cleaner.
