Just spent a thoroughly disheartening couple of hours trying to find accomodation for a family of 4 in Finale for last two weeks of July. Even the really basic stuff is 1k per week!! Anyone have any tips on places or villas? Possibly going with another family so a 4 bed house would be an option. Can't find anything myself.

Email ade at riviera bike...they run a company out of Molini....the hotel they use is ace but they do know some other type of places...
Molini is way cheaper, but slightly out of the way and maybe not much there for younger children? great riding though 8)

They have a family room - the whole place looks lovely
Would you be OK with camping or does it have to be a house?

Can't remember what it's called, hence the map.
Check out Camping Tahiti, just outside the town. They have little log cabins for not much money. Lovely people too.

Cy, why is it Finale you want to stay in? it is hell in July and August,
Further West is better and quieter with hardly anyone riding on the trails.
Jo sent you an email with some ideas but this is the Italian riviera, so wont be cheap..
Also try the german sites as most holiday houses here are owned by the germans..
Where we are based a 3/4 bed house costs about €500 but still a lot to do for the kids and the beaches only 30 mins away.. we have had many families and they all loved it as all the kids in the village all play with each other and being Italy people here look out for other peoples kids too so ou can relax more..
Here you go, you're looking at about 600 Euro in peak season.
Really nice place and the owners are great people.
