This is starting to irk me. On the desktop version of Facebook along the top right hand side of the screen, news headlines appear. The trouble is that much it is celebrity 'news' I have no interest in seeing. I click the x by each of the headlines I want to remove, and click on 'I don't care about this' when asked for my reason for deletion. Now you'd expect the system to learn and not keep posting non-news stories but no, it doesn't.

Is there a way of giving Facebook a negative load across its logic terminals to shock it into learning?

This is possible, you merely have to convince people on Facebook to stop being interested in celebrity news.

Good luck and Godspeed.

I just flagged it as an 'Ad' in my not-to-mentioned-plug-in and it vanished....

Shrink the window.

Thanks for that footflaps. Worked nicely. Facebook cleaner is also a worthy extension.

Is there any way of reducing the "suggested post" nonsense in the mobile app. FWIW I rarely use the full wesbite version as it has too many ads
