I witnessed quite an impressive face plant on Saturday coming down the bridleway to the rookery at the bottom of Leith hill. He was a bit shocked following the accident but apart from a cut chin and crack in his helmet he seemed ok(mainly embarrassed at loosing it on the flat bit). We sat with him whilst his mate went off for some plasters, then rode back up to his car with them to make sure they were ok... suggested a trip to A&E and that his mate (over from Bristol) drove them back to Tooting.
Not sure if they are regulars on here but thought someone may know of a mate with a similar story and the outcome.
P.s. It's my first post so go easy.
Fortunately they went to A&E where, luckily, it was picked up that they needed an 'addapairtomee'. The operation was a success and they can now ride along flat, smooth ground without issue.
