He lives locally, he's a lovely person, always has time to stop and chat, help out at the village fete, whatever, even though he must be in constant demand to fix all the local animal eyes. He came round and diagnosed our (long since departed) guinea pig's eyes years ago as well and we got our very first dog (greyhound) from him as well.
Because she needed daily eyedrops, the health of her left eye was being closely monitored by staff.
