simple question.

I have a box, linked to a list, using data validation etc.

I have a second box that is also a list. But the contents of the second box depend on the contents of the first box.

What i want to do is have it so that depending what is entered on the first list the second list is populated.

Finally the contents of both boxes are then used to populate a further worksheet that can be printed off.

Can i do this without VBA? i am guessing that using combo/list boxes and the contents based on values might work?

Yes. Use some named ranges and OFFSET. Instructions thus:

Or indeed here:

Or here:

Indirect is probably the better method.

managed to find a method, using INDIRECT rather than OFFSET.

didn't think it would be that hard, just a matter of finding pages that give answers and not people asking the question.
