Is it me or estate agents in general an utter nightmare to deal with.
Last thursday they were quite happy to take £400 off me as a holding deposit on a flat and give me the paperwork, fully knowing the situation.
Now they're demanding 6months rent in advance, kicking off about one of my housemates guarantors and today, ignoring my phone calls.
It's driving me up the wall to say the least, particularly because the lettings market here is so fast if they don't want to let me the property i've missed out on two others at least. 😐

they will demand six months rent upfront only if they failed to get a rent guarantee policy on you.
