A friend has been asked to write a checklist of "top tips" for office managers and FM teams to reduce energy / environmental impact. There must be loads out there... Anyone got one / know where I can point them?

Thanks 🙂

If there's no-one in an office or server room, it's OK to unplug all the computers. Hope that helps. 😉

Put the heating or air con on timers.
Low energy bulbs.
Percussion taps.
Lower capacity cisterns.

Problem with the FM roles is that theyre given to non technical types.
FM is and should be a role for a building services engineer in that any **** can manage cleaners and security but not all understand the fundamentals of BMS, Heating, Ventilation, AC, vert transport etc. The thought of handing a state of the art low energy building to a glorified administrator scares me to death.
