Having seen how precious some people are about Corstorphine Hill I thought it might be worth posting a link to this proposed development on another of Edinburgh's Seven Hills. Apologies if it's been posted already but I couldn't see anything:

I'd be surprised if much can be done to stop the property development but it's worth a go. Of course I'm just being a NIMBY as I live beside it 🙂
