As above the stuff is almost suicidal to drink but my ex father in law ( alas he is no longer with us) had a fantastic recipie to make cherry vodka with the stuff

My brother in law had some spirit of a similar strength and used to mix a cap full into a can of coke.

These euro measurements
Take 1 1/2 kilos of cherries (half pitted)
Place in seal-able jar and pour in 1 x 500ml bottle of spiritus. Leave to steep for 3 weeks.
Drain off liquor and reserve and then place cherries in jar with 500ml of vodka and 25 grammes of sugar.
After another 3 weeks.. drain liquor off and blend with reserved spiritus liquor. Keep for 3 months before drinking very chilled.
The cherries will continue to give up the juice so save and top up now and then. Use cherries in wicked cherry cakes.
