I was going to have some sausages, but I checked them, and they looked a bit funny, so I've slung 'em. Can't risk it. Going to meet a nice young lady tomoz, and daren't risk any humiliating incidents involving Hackney Council cleaning operatives, dressed in HAZMAT suits, hosing me down on Kingsland road.

I think I'll have some prawns, actually. I seem to have stockpiled quite an amount. A nice garlicky tomatoey sauce, and some pasta. Mm..

Curtis, you wouldn't happen to be near Mangal Ocabashi in Dalston, would you?

That would be too spooky...

Well baste my bunions! You mean the famous one on Arcola st???

Curtis; it is possible I may be there tomoz night. I go there now and then, about once a month or so. Fan-tastic grub. Really fresh, tender meat, and you certainly know it's not been hanging about! Don't sit too near the grill, though. I have a big hole in a lovely Campag jersey, because of that. 🙁

An alternative might be the Shakespeare, and a pizza from the place next door. Ain't done that in a while. They do a nice pizza, there.

If you are going tomoz night, then there's every chance I might see you!

I'm not going to rub your moobs, though.

the bird's at her mum's house for the night so, in true party fashion, i'll be going to bed early no doubt...

Gnocchi with arrabiata, Grolsh Weizen and TV On The Radio. Not such a bad evening really, despite the unlikeliness of getting out tomorrow due to inclement weather.
Thinking about it, I've not been on my bike at all this year. Last year I was quite happy pottering about in the rain, sleet and snow, but recently a bit of drizzle's enough to put me off.
Is this what being old's like?
