They all died from hypothermia after fleeing their tent for shelter behind a ridge in an avalanche scare. They couldn't find the tent afterwards and succumbed to the - 45 deg C temp.
So no infrasound induced mania, secret Russian weapons or yetis involved.
Nonsense.
They all died of exhaustion trying to overturn a stranded Ural sidecar.
And, y'know, aliens.
Why couldn't they just have followed their own tracks back to the tent?
Tracks got covered by snow so they couldn't backtrack...
