I take it you don't have autocad...

illustrator might be able to handle it

You'll get a viewer on autodesks website which will let you print and do minor mark ups

google autocad ws.
It allows you to open a .dwg file in browser, then view/edit/print.
I'm not sure if it will convert to pdf, but tbh, its probably not necesary if you use this.

If you must convert it, pretty sure draftsight does that.
However, you'll need to download and install it. But it is free.
good luck, loum

For <anyones> future reference, download 'cute Pdf'. It appears as a printer option when you go to print / plot from most applications, including autocad, which then prints the image, drawing etc to a .Pdf format file.

It's free and does not clog up the system with pop ups like other free programs.

Draftsight might be worth a look if you are going to be getting frequent files to print.

It's a free CAD program.

+1 for draftsight

We use it for the "Non CAD" engineers to view CAD files and drawings

Quite often they need to look at components or assemblies but would get hideously lost with a full CAD Package.

It works well and is free 😉
