Ok so I had a motor bike pinched in 2002 and it was (obviously) never recovered. It was a classic motorbike and I was gutted at the time but I pretty much forgot about it. I was doing some housekeeping the other day and I found the V5 - the reg plate could be worth some cash - does anyone know if is it possible to sell this?

Yes, it is - any of the reg transfer sites will enable you to do this online.
Probably best checking with Dvla first, that it's still yours...

Doesnt it need mot to sell the plate? Also that plate will be listed on PNC as stolen...so the new owner would get stopped.
Also if an insurance company has paid out....it belongs to them
