Really? I looked at them earlier and the packet just read as they were tangy cheese with a few chilli heatwave's chucked in for fun.

So I just bought a packet of chilli heatwave. Did I miss out?

Do wish tesco wouldn't sell the big bags for a quid though... 😳

Thats exactly what I thought. Now, I mess about with Bajan Hot pepper sauce so I'm used to heat, but I've "found" four of the buggers now and my chops are on fire!

I may have your quota - instead of a random inferno every once in a while, I seemed to have a 50/50 ratio

Good luck Drac.

Had a contest with my young nephew before a flight to Italy recently. He bailed at the first hot one he got. I battled through and finished the bag. After half a dozen hot ones you become numb to it.

I sweat from the head when I eat hot food and I was a mess tbh. Wife was in stitches

These things were on offer at my local 24 hour Spar / BP Garage so I got a pack thinking, like has been said, they were chilli heatwave and cheese.

OMG the first hot one I nearly cried.

Morning after affect much worse than a curry 😳

We're just watching my girls (8 & 11), and their mate eating them. Its hilarious!! They're presently guzzling gallons of Vimto to try and numb the pain! 😆

Cheese Doritos make me ill, which is annoying because I really want to try these hot ones. Bah.

Something ironic about the white t shirt binners...

We took a bag to a friends BBQ tonight. Sadly we had to bring the kids home just as some dads had got drunk enough to start opening the bag.

The hot ones are not. Need more in each bag though.

I thought the hot ones were really nice. Not too hot I thought. It was nice to have a mix of hot and not so hot in a bag though, they went down far too easily!

Got some of these today, rather nice - definitely hotter than the chilli heatwave

I don't think that my daughter was too impressed at the pass-through effects though 😆

Took me by surprise when I bought a bag, suddenly it wasn't fun 😆

I thought it would be a Heatwave but was more potent than that.

Opened our bag the other night. Yeah they're not hot at all are they, should have listened to my 12 year old daughter she said they weren't.

Do the Doritos burn as much as the stupid in that newspaper article?

I think they must of forgot to put any hot ones in the bag i had. Mrs skip said they were a bit hot but i did the bag in by myself waiting for the burn but it never came.

May try another bag tonight just to see if i can find one......

There are definitely some very strong ones in there, I suffered for a good 20 minutes after the one(s) I had, it gave me hiccups (as strong chilli often does) and my mouth was on fire for a good while! I'm quite keen on hot food usually too.

There's either;
A) some seriously nesh posters on this thread, or
B) some serious quality control issues at the Walkers factory.

I'm going to be charitable, assume B) and give them another go (or two).

I've had around 5 bags and only found 3 or 4 semi hot chips.
They really aren't that hot but they are hotter than their pathetic chilli heatwave.
