A mate of mine has moved to a shared house in a small village. The internet access is average at best but there are 4 people already sharing a connection in the house making surfing porn painfully slow. BT want to charge the earth to put a separate line in however there is a telephone box opposite his bedroom booming out a cracking openzone signal. Looking at BT web site he can get unlimited access for £15 a month.
Any use openzone regularly.? Is it worth a punt.?
We have the Sky WiFi on our iPad, and use it regularly.
How else would I browse STW at the local coffee shop?
(More and more hotspots are popping up every month)
I've never been able to connect to an Openzone signal.
Same as Drac, I've never been able to connect either.
I suggest before he blows £15 a month to try it out on a PAYG basis. I'm pretty sure you can buy a GB of data for cheap.
i use it all the time on my iphone and ipad as traveling
its incredibly easy with ios and the openzone app.
RTFM - you have to do it a specific way.
i get it as part of my package with BT - my routers an openzone hot spot .... how ever anyone using it thats not sitting inside my house - well they would have to sit in their car in my garden .... the signal doesnt stretch beyond that thanks to nice thick walls.

4 people sharing an internet connection should be fine unless someones raping it downloading stuff or its something stupid like a 1meg connection.
According to the advert there's millions of hot spots. I couldn't find one at Gatwick or The NEC.
I use one at the hotel we stay at in Devon and I think I've used one other. On the whole though its not that good.

Back to the OP - I have a BT hotspot in my house, its called my own router I find the connection sometimes is better through the BT app than direct! I do use it when out and about useful in the pub sometimes as we don't have a decent data signal round our way.

Because you're trivialising the word. It's got nothing to do with how you "choose" to read it, that word only has one meaning.
By using it in the way you have it suggests maybe you don't think rape is very serious.

So the house mates are spoiling the internet connection by overusing it.
