Yes I know it’s a long shot, and they go out of their way not to make themselves easy to contact, but I want them to sort out the **** up they've made of my tablet.

I doubt you would get a response.
You need to talk to their tech support. I'm presuming its a firmware update gone bad? Is it a Nexus? If not then pester the manufacturer.
