So I've made a 3D model in photoshop and I'm happy with the way it looks. I get the lighting and the camera angle I like right and I go to save as, save it as a PNG and voila I have an image I can work with. Guides online say to render it at some point which takes about half an hour on my PC because the image is huge. What does rendering do that save-as doesn't? Once I've rendered it can I fiddle with the lighting/camera angle or would I have to re-render?
Many thanks
Every time you adjust something you will need to re-render. If you want to try things out and not wait for long render times, save a low res version to play around with first
Thanks!
