...how to put quotes from other postings in those neat little italic boxes? I'm a little knew to this...

Well, copy and pate the quote, then highlight it in the text box, and click the "quote" button.
Or, click the button, paste the quote, then click the button again.
Or, you can type:
'
([i]insert quote here[/i])[/quote ]', without the spaces after the word 'quote'.Some clever people can do big text, centred text, upside text and all sorts of silliness.
