Due to a festive laundry oversight I find myself wearing emergency backup boxer shorts. Nasty horrible things. No support and far too much movement for my liking.

Who on earth likes wearing the damn things?

Little Harry is not having a comfortable day.

I prefer them, not a fan of budgie smugglers, and when your balls hang low and you can tie them in a bow, boxers rock 🙂

This sounds like a blatant request for pictures of men in their pants!

Correct. It is the baggy cotton ones that I am not enjoying. Lyrca stretchy jobs on the radiator at this very moment so that I can end this misery.

Cynic-al is correct. Loose boxers are rubbish.

Just ask anyone who has tried to do judo while wearing them..... 😳

I do. Can't stand pants although, after having the snip the briefs were invaluable.

Loose soft-cotton boxers here. The whole reason we've got a scrotum is so the heat can be regulated easy.

Oh to have tiny little pert balls that stay out in front of my body instead of great big dangly ****ers that wedge themselves betwix my thighs when sitting down.... Loose boxers never again.

I think we can now see why there are so many uptight posters on STW.....

Let them hang free and chill out a bit!

I've worn boxers since the age of 11
The only people that wear budgie smugglers are either pre pubescent kids or OAP's.

I get the feeling that most of STW sit with their legs crossed in 'that' fashion....

You just can't take Capt'n flash seriously can you?.......£95 for a pair of boxer shorts?.

For that sort of money i'd expect one-on-one personal 24hr support from a pair of silky smooth and lotioned nubile seamstresses hands at all time, she can reach under to cup if she wants or i'm just as happy for her to walk alongside me and rummage in my trouser pockets.

£95 for boxers?....some folk may take capt'n flash seriously and get all stw'er uppity but it raises a smile and a shake of the head from me...... 😀

And fitted boxers for me btw, either cheapie merino/cotton/polyester ones from tkmaxx or sportpursuit does me fine, i can't abide those loose boxers that allow yer nads to drop down the trouser leg.

Get yourselves down to TK Maxx and get some pringle pants. Comfiest pants you'll ever wear. Thank me later.

And since you wanted pics..

I have always been a fan of the standard M and S underwear especially as I get a discount. Thought expensive ones were a waste of money and you were only buying a label.
However I won a pair of Armani pants once, I think they cost about £45 new, and they have been the best I have ever owned. Supremely comfortable, wash perfectly even fine in the drier. Took a very long time to wear them out too. So I've started buying expensive ones when I see them on offer.

I was going to ask boxer wearers what they do when they have to take their trousers down in public, revealing their todger dangling down one leg. But then I started wondering under what circumstances one drops one's kegs in public...

I feel that having to explain the practicalities of loose boxer shorts is a little like trying to explain to non cyclists that sitting on a bike isn't uncomfortable because despite popular opinion you don't actually sit on your bollocks
