Flu the weekend before Christmas.

That affected my asthma.

Got to see my doctor on Monday evening and got medicine - anti-biotics and the same steroids I got a fortnight ago

The steroids don't seem to have had much effect, other than me being convinced that I was going to die on Christmas Day night. I ended up sitting on one end of the sofa thinking I was dying, while the wife put the kids to bed. I had no energy left, so was bound to die; it was obvious. I didn't want to make a fuss though, so just sat on the sofa scaring myself. When my wife came downstairs I was a quivering wreck and it took a while for me to be able to explain what was wrong.

After a couple of hours of twitching *ping* I was fine!

It goes without saying that I didn't take yesterday's dose of steroids! I seem to be all normal now. I didn't like being a mentalist, so I'm glad.

Today, the boiler has decided to quit working, so we're without central heating or hot water, but that's pretty easy to cope with, compared to mentalitis.

Anyone had a dodgier Christmas? (Christmas was pretty good, really.)
