Stumbled upon this link (back to STW)

That got me thinking of the good old bad old dayz....
Anybody been to any raves in the South West area recently?
😉
Haha, I've been getting the itch again lately... Went to a few DiY parties around 1990 in Devon.
Anything happening around Sussex now anyone?
What do you call a raver in a filing cabinet?
Sorted!
(I've not been able to tell this joke for about 20 years)
Heh.
MTb events is sort of like raving...lots of sweat and gurning, staying up all night (sometimes) hidden locations with marques and all that jazz.
I was cycling home from work in Bristol late one night and there were loads of ravers out queuing for some rave thing.. maybe I'm too old for it these days.
This Soundcloud link should evoke a few memories..
Most folk who were enjoying the scene in the early 90s round our way will have these tunes etched permanently into their memory..
i reckon you could start a new ting for da 2012 crowd, just find an empty warehouse, charge em £50 to get in, sell em a pill and let em all listen to their ipods via earphones.... would be the most stealth rave ever!!!
why not mix mountain biking with raving 😉
Qwerty - quite few festivals have silent discos now to avoid noise issues late at night. Standard dj's but everyone wears Bluetooth headphones. Went to one where they had 3 dj's in the same tent at same time - some oddly jarring dancing going on from different members of audience on different channels.
