[Closed] Direct Payments

Hi, does anyone have experience of direct payments?

Our son has CP and it has been suggested to us that we apply.

He currently gets Higher rate Mobility and DLA. Services and equipment include physio/OT visits, walker, wheelchair, specialist boots, fancy chair to use in class and chairs to use at the dining table at home and school. From September he'll get transport to secondary school.

If we get DP, will the equipment get sent back and services stop for us to rearrange? Is it more hassle than it's worth?
