I'm trying to cut out rice and pasta, but I am going riding tomorrow so I would like something substantial.

I could do myself another feta cheese and veg omelette, but I fancy something different.

Any healthy suggestions?

ah, at that point my suggestion of fish, chips, peas and a buttered muffin / teacake / roll (whatever they call 'em your way) with beer for starter, side dish and dessert is probably not on your radar... ๐Ÿ™‚

Maybe 'spanish' your omelette a bit - add in chunks / slices of potato - soften 'em first (microwave?) for a touch of added carbs or is that too close to 'rice and pasta'...?

Yeah, trying to cut potatoes down too, but a good suggestion nontheless.

Curry and naan - make it yourself and it can be healthy.
