Turns out that nobody in the street has received their polling card.

Anyone else not got theirs?

Me. But registered online, then got a letter from York council few days later saying all I need to do next is turn up and vote. Knowing York council they have probably dropped a clanger.

Crikey you still have not received one yet ... 😯

I received my polling card nearly 3 weeks ago but my ballot papers arrived yesterday and I voted today by hand delivering my ballot papers to the council.

😯

Not so sure now. Clicked a link on what to do if you havent got your polling card yet. Bit conflicting this. As link sounds like you do need one.

Aye, definitely don't need it to vote, and unless there's some large scale, very obvious fraud/cock up gone on, I can't see how a whole street could just disappear from the register?

If that had happened though, wonder what they'd do?

I registered twice as I was prompted twice due to the changes. Then they registered me again by default anyway according to the letter that came today.

You don't need ID either, you just need to say a name and address that is on their list, and hasn't been crossed off yet.

I applied for a postal vote which never arrived. Same for my wife.

Feels like a conspiracy

I think north of the border they got hold of the SNP fan list and started deleting streets 😉
