One of my old clients... Patricia Mycock. Pat, lovely woman.
Wada chairman Dick Pound is asked if Lord Coe's leadership of IAAF is tenable:"We have not descended to any individual athletes or sports official. We have pointed out that the council could not have been unaware of the situation.
"It's a fabulous opportunity for the IAAF to seize the opportunity and move forward. I can't think of anyone better than Lord Coe to lead that."
Interesting. I thought from the other stuff that's come out that they had Coe firmly in their sights.

today
Pound:
"Of course there was a cover-up. If [IAAF] can't acknowledge it, you will never get past it"
and yet Coe's still the best man for the job?
if the job requires the shooting of messengers, then he's done a good job so far...
Guy at my work called Euan Kerr. Why would you, seriously?.
Pah, we actually had a Wayne Kerr at work.
Used to work with a guy called Richard Dipper, who used Dick for his first name.
Interesting. I thought from the other stuff that's come out that they had Coe firmly in their sights.
I suspect that wording was a warning shot across the bows.
Ned Boulting tweeted earlier wondering if Steve Ovett was available.
Why not just give Pound the job. He always seems to tell it like it is. Once he sorted the IAAF he could nip over to FIFA then the UDI.
Many years ago....
Superintendant Dickie married his long time girlfriend Ophelia.
