Does anyone have any experience if this jacket? Apparently the sizing is quite small.

The trouble is that I have a 40 inch chest and broad shoulders, but only a 30 inch waist. The former tells me I should go for a medium, if the size guide is to be believed.

Why wrong forum?

Broad shoulders and slim waist is not a typical cyclist shape, is it!

dhb stuff is quite snugly cut. Why not order medium and large sizes then just return the one you don't want?

I've got the Gilet in Medium and I've got a 36" chest. Fits very well, I'd go for large.

Wiggle do free returns with collect+ just order two

I have one. They are relatively fitted compared to non race kit and mtb kit. The body is relatively narrow for the size so you probably would be better going a bit larger.

For reference I'm 30 waist and about 37 chest and wear small in dhb, including a windslam jersey. It is snug, as it should be.

Cheers folks. I might get the large. As you say, I can always return it if it doesn't fit.
